Hey there stranger, you seem to be having problems with a few internet things, but don’t worry I’m here to show you all you need to know about – How to install WordPress in cPanel…

How do I install WordPress on my cPanel with a new domain?

💾 If you don’t have any of the Quick Install apps or plugins on your cPanel, your solution will be a little bit more complex, but not by a lot. First, go to WordPress.ORG and click here to download WordPress files in a zip. Once it’s done downloading, extract the files on your desktop or somewhere else. Now let’s jump to your cPanel and at the very top, you should see FILE MANAGER.

💾 Open it up, find a folder named PUBLIC_HTML and enter it. There might be some files here depending on your provider or setup, but you can delete all of them. Once the folder is empty, click this UPLOAD icon. On the next page select all files that you extracted from that WordPress zip and just drag all of them into your browser screen, it should automatically upload everything.

💾 When the files are in your server, we need to create a database for WordPress to work with, so go back to the main cPanel dashboard and look for DATABASES, select MYSQL DATABASES. Here type in your database name, something simple, I’ll name this one – test_project_data and click create, then press GO BACK. Write this database name down in a notepad, then scroll down and you’ll find ADD NEW USER text, here create a username and a password, again, write those two down.
